As a specialist executive recruitment consultancy, MRL Group acknowledges its position of privilege and hopes to use it to improve the lives of people who may be less fortunate.

While our business itself may not fulfill a humanitarian cause we believe MRL Group can contribute to the welfare and happiness of others at the same time as achieving corporate growth.

Rockinghorse

Throughout 2010, MRL has made a commitment to support The Rockinghorse Appeal, a local charity originally set up to champion the building of the new Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton. The charity has since branched out to support a number of different projects in the county, helping improve the lives of children in hospitals across Sussex.

Rockinghorse has continued to raise funds for additional medical equipment. With this in mind, MRL has pledged to raise the sum of £5000 specifically to provide a new incubator for the Trevor Mann Baby Unit located at the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.

Several members of staff are participating in fundraising activities for this cause:

      All donations gratefully received.

ran a superb Paris marathon on Sunday 11th April, completing in a brisk 3hr 18 mins!

Leigh-Anne Morrell ran 20 miles of the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 18th April but was forced to retire under doctors orders due to a trapped nerve despite her remonstrations!   An heroic effort nevertheless.

Emma Wilson ran an incredible Brighton Marathon in 3hr 32 mins and was one of the top 50 runners. The girl just gets better & better.

Winston’s Wish

On 18th April 2010 MRL’s founder and Non-Executive Director, Paul Sansbury, completed the marathon in a commendable 4hrs 25 mins, running on behalf of Winston’s Wish – a charity which is actively supporting his two young nieces currently.

Well done and a huge thank you to all competitors.

Sponsorship: Sense

MRL have sponsored a number of events aimed at raising funds for a variety of charities. One of our latest sponsorships included the Sense Everest Base Camp Trek which raised funds, awareness and support for children and adults who are deafblind.

Fundraising: The Red Cross

In addition to sponsorship, we encourage our specialist executive recruitment consultants and employees at every level to donate their time to charities that reflect our values.

Through this we carry out active fundraising across our global offices for our chosen charity, The International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement. The Movement has a presence across the regions we work in and it’s the world's largest humanitarian network. The Movement is neutral and impartial, and provides protection and assistance to people affected by disasters and conflicts.

Supporting locally

With offices located around the globe our business benefits from the support of the local and international communities we work within.

We therefore feel it is our responsibility to support our employees, the local and global communities we work within and offer something back. We want our impact on the communities we affect to be a positive one.
