Outplacement

MRL provides a very personalised level of support to those facing career change or redundancy.

Our Outplacement programmes are flexible and tailored to the needs of the Company and the Individual. All Candidates are supported by professional Consultants who are hands-on, experienced and positive, and enable Candidates to take charge of their careers.

MRL offers a selection of both Group and Individual Outplacement programmes to meet the varying needs of Companies undergoing change.

Group Outplacement is a solution for Companies facing a staff downsize and are conscious of their responsibility towards their employees. It helps all employees affected by lay-offs to take charge of their careers and swiftly move into a new position. This is especially suitable for a larger number of staff with similar career backgrounds.

Individual Outplacement typically provides support to management level employees affected by redundancy. It is also suitable for non-managerial staff or a small number of employees with diverse career backgrounds. They receive personal support from our team of professional Consultants on a one to one basis.

Methodology

Our Consultants support Outplacement Candidates in an advisory and coaching capacity. The following Methodology describes the stages typically covered in our Outplacement projects. However, MRL will tailor each project to the needs of the Company and the Individual.

Stage I - Analysis

In one to one coaching sessions we discuss and analyse the status quo and support the Candidate in defining personal and professional objectives based on their individual strengths and talents. Psychometric tests can also be included at this stage. This is the foundation for all ensuing activities as the further steps will be defined at this stage.

Stage II – Application Training

· Prepare and optimize the candidate’s CV

· Enable the candidate to efficiently find job adverts and analyse their suitability

· Define a strategy of how to apply for individual openings

· Interview training


Stage III – Proactive Support

MRL open the extensive existing client network to the Candidate. MRL will initially search additional suitable employers for the Candidate and then enable them to independently find potential employers.

Stage IV – Ad-hoc Support

MRL will provide assistance and advice to the Candidate beyond the Group or Individual Outplacement on an ad-hoc basis for an individually agreed period.
